Tarlatan — Complaints Procedure

Last updated: 10/09/2026

We want every family’s experience with Tarlatan to be a positive one. If something hasn’t gone as expected, we want to hear from you so we can put it right.

1. How to make a complaint

You can raise a concern or complaint with us by:

•             Emailing ben@tarlatan.co.uk

•             Using the contact form on our website at tarlatan.co.uk/contact

•             Speaking to a member of staff directly at a session

Please include your child’s name, the session(s) concerned, and as much detail as possible about your concern.

2. What happens next

•             We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days

•             We will investigate and aim to provide a full response within 10 working days. If it takes longer (for example, if we need to speak with staff or gather more information), we’ll let you know and give an updated timeframe

•             Where appropriate, we will let you know what action we’ve taken or plan to take as a result

3. If you’re not satisfied with our response

If you feel your complaint hasn’t been resolved satisfactorily, you can ask for it to be reviewed by the company director, who may not have been involved in the original response.

If your complaint relates to a safeguarding matter or a concern about our registration, you can also contact Ofsted directly:

•             Ofsted general enquiries: 0300 123 1231

•             Ofsted online complaints form: [gov.uk — reporting a concern about a childcare provider]

4. Record keeping

We keep a record of all complaints received, how they were handled, and the outcome, in line with our safeguarding and record-keeping obligations. This helps us identify any patterns and continually improve what we do.
